Collected Voices Film Festival Preview at Kartemquin 50th Anniversary!

CHICAGO, Illinois- Saturday, August 13th at 1:30PM, Collected Voices Film Festival Director, Ife Olatunji, will host a preview of the 2016 Collected Voices Film Festival season at the Karetemquin Gallery Talks, which features Chi~Voices: A Poetic Film Series.

The Gallery Talks are to commemorate Kartemquin’s 50th Anniversary as a prominent documentary production institution in Chicago.  Ife was a Diverse Voices in Documentary fellow  with Kartemquin in 2014.  During that time, she created a short documentary on access to education in Chicago.  Her participation in the program and her commitment to creating opportunities for diverse storytellers and filmmakers, ultimately prompted the creation of Collected Voices.  For more information on this week’s event, click on the link Kartemquin Gallery Talks August 13th.
