Street Level Youth Media SAAP Summer 2013 Showcase

Street Level Youth Media SAAP Summer 2013 Showcase

This Summer, I had the pleasure of being a Teaching Mentor at Street Level Media. Conveniently, the theme this summer was violence. The selected 14 students across from the CPS were to explore their ideas about violence. Where does it come from? How do we contain it? What makes you violent? Rather, or you violent?

The following photos were taken by one the students herself, the talented Tayla Myles. These are pics from the opening night of the exhibition. If interested in attending, visit Street Level Youth Media at 1637 N Ashland Ave Chicago, IL 60642 or call
(773) 862-5331 during business hours to get information on attending this free to the public event. Open until Late September.
I promise you, you will not be disappointed. Come and spare a few minutes to explore the minds of the youth today.
